Wedding Information

Date and Time - Saturday, October 23, 3:00pm
- Please arrive at the ceremony location allowing sufficient time to park and walk to the ceremony site.
Location - "Lion Mountain" - Outdoors at the home of Joe Lion.
Rain Location - Grace Lutheran Church, Boone
- We will attempt to determine as soon as possible if we will need to use the rain location and let guests know via email, phone, and this site.

Attire - This ceremony will be outdoors and may require walking up to 200 meters in a grassy field to reach the site. Comfortable shoes are requested, and casual dress is acceptable. NO HEELS PLEASE. Also be prepared for chilly weather. The average temperature in Boone for that week is high 50's or 60's, so prepare accordingly.
Parking - Parking will be provided in small field near the ceremony site. The entrance to the field is a narrow, one-lane path off of Payne Branch. Note that the entrance to the field is NOT the drive way to the Lion residence or the entrance to the field immediately next to the Lion driveway. The entrance will be marked. Cars should not have a problem driving on the path to the parking lot, but should the path be muddy from wet weather, be prepared to park on the road and walk to the site.
